Choose the right communication pathway

Contact Physmedi

The clearest next step starts with the right destination. New patients, existing patients, and referring medical offices have different secure pathways so the appropriate team receives the information.

  • New-patient requests
  • Existing-patient portal
  • Medical-office referrals

New patients: begin with an initial review

The appointment-request pathway asks for the information the team needs to determine the appropriate next step. Helpful information may include the reason for seeking care, referring-clinician details, insurance information, medication information when requested, and available records or reports.

Request, not a confirmed appointment: Sending the form begins screening. It does not confirm acceptance, a clinician, an office, a service, coverage, or an appointment.

Existing patients: use the Patient Portal

The new-patient request pathway is not the correct place for established-patient messages, refills, results, care questions, or account access. Use the Patient Portal or follow the communication instructions your care team has provided.

Medical offices: use the secure referral pathway

Referring offices should use the dedicated pathway to send the referral question and available records. Relevant office notes, imaging reports, laboratory results, prior testing, medication information, insurance details, and authorization information may help the referral team evaluate what is needed.

Central phone number and office information

Physmedi uses one central phone number for Orlando, Clermont, and Kissimmee. Medical-assistant, referral, billing, and other department workflows serve all three locations; calling does not guarantee that the call is answered at a particular physical office.

For billing or general office questions, message us securely or call the central number and use the automated menu to select the appropriate department.

Records, documents, and privacy

Use only the secure appointment-request, Patient Portal, or medical-office referral pathway for medical information and documents. Do not place detailed medical information in ordinary, unsecured messages or send it to an address that has not been approved for that purpose.

The team may request identification, insurance cards, referral documents, imaging or laboratory reports, prior notes, or other records when needed. Send only information requested through the appropriate secure workflow.

How should a medical office send records?

Use the secure medical-office referral pathway so the referral team receives the clinical question and supporting documents together.

Message us securely, or call the central number, (407) 237-0069, and select the appropriate department from the phone menu.

Does the central number serve every location?
